TheyWorkForYou.com: For all its faults and foibles, our democracy is a profound gift from
previous generations. Yet most people don't know the name of their MP, nor
their constituency, let alone what their MP does or says in their name.
TheyWorkForYou.com aim to help bridge this growing democratic
disconnect, in the belief that there is little wrong with Parliament that a healthy mixture
of transparency and public engagement won't fix. Find your member of
parliment and parlimentary question

The Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) is an initiative of the Chartered Institute of Taxation to give a voice to those who cannot afford to pay for tax advice. We gather evidence of problems in the tax system for those on low incomes. We then work with the relevant authorities to try to resolve them. Our aim is to persuade politicians and the Revenue to make the tax system simpler and fairer. This site also tries to provide reliable tax and related benefits information so that people who want to try and help themselves can do so
